NWCA Announces Staffing Changes

Manheim, PA – The NWCA is excited to announce that Dave Kemmy has been hired to assume the position of Deputy Director of the NWCA.  Kemmy’s primary duties include the oversight of the NWCA business office/human resources and acting aChief Operating Officer of the organization. “Dave brings over 30 years of extensive experience as a very successful DIII college coach and athletic director. As he served as a coach and athletic director at Roger Williams University, he volunteered to serve on the NWCA Board of Directors and well as a mentor for the college coaches CEO Leadership Academy, so he is intimately familiar with our flagship NWCA programs and activities.” Mike Moyer, NWCA Executive Director.

As of July 1, 2019, our current NWCA Deputy Director, Jim Fallis is going to relinquish his NWCA Deputy Director duties in the office headquarters to take on an expanded role with administering all of the collegiate leadership groups (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, NJCAA, and Women) while working remotely from his Las Vegas home. “Over the past few years, the NWCA has been extraordinarily fortunate to have full-time access to the talent and knowledge of Jim Fallis, a seasoned veteran college coach and Division I athletic director with over 35 years of experience. The communication between the NWCA office, our membership, and the governing bodies has never been better. He has also been invaluable in his knowledge of the inner workings of the various collegiate governing bodies as well as the implementation of internal systems and controls for the day to day operation of the NWCA office and our activities,” Mike Moyer.

Current NWCA Business Manager, Don Shelly will be retiring after a terrific 10-year tenure with the NWCA. “Don has been instrumental in managing the NWCA bookkeeping and human resource responsibilities over the years in such a way that the NWCA is now in a great position to thrive for decades,” Mike Moyer.
