NWCA ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH STERILASER

Manheim, PA – On Monday, the National Wrestling Coaches Association announced an exciting new partnership with Sterilaser, UV-C light disinfectant leader. Sterilaser has been disinfecting at the speed of light since its founding in 2008 by Michigan natives and high school friends Mark Bunting and Steve Kowalski.

Co-Founders Steve Kowalski & Mark Bunting

Sterilaser Floor, Room, and Chamber units deliver massive doses of germicidal ultraviolet (UVC) light to disinfect anything from hospital rooms to wrestling and gymnastic mats to public showers or any other large surface. They stop dangerous germs, bacteria, and viruses such as Corona or Influenza Viruses, Hepatitis, STAPH (including MRSA), E-Coli, Salmonella, and HIV. STERILASER™ is a “Green Technology.” UVC does not contribute to the development of resistant strains of microorganisms, as do other antimicrobials and antibiotics.

“I’m proud to announce that Sterilaser will now be the official UVC device of the NWCA. This new partnership will build on our existing relationship with Defense Soap, our Official Hygiene partner, and create a strong 1-2 punch to help protect our student-athletes and keep them on the mat.” Said Mike Moyer, NWCA Executive Director. “Sterilaser co-founders and leadership team, Mark and Steve, have been great to work with, and we are excited to work with them going forward as all future NWCA events will utilize the Sterilaser Deluxe Floor model.

In addition to the NWCA DIII National Championships, the Sterilaser Deluxe Floor unit was in action at the NCAA Division I and II National Championships, the SoCon tournament, the GHSA, and TSSAA State Wrestling Championships, as well as the GHSA State Cheerleading Championships.
