CCCAA | Top of Wrestling Rankings Remain Unchanged, Sacramento City Moves Up to Three Spots

There was no change at the top of the latest state wrestling rankings as Fresno City and Cerritos maintained their positions at number one and two.

Fresno City remains undefeated after knocking off Skyline 39-14 and beating Modesto 38-12 in their last two duals. The FCC Rams also had another stellar performance in the Modesto Tournament with five individuals claiming first place in their respective weight brackets.

Cerritos continues to show they are one of the top teams in the state. The Falcons faced some of the best teams in the state at the Santa Ana Tournament and took first place with three individuals winning their brackets.

Moving up three spots to No. 3 in the new rankings are Sacramento City Panthers. The Panthers bounced back from a tough day at the West Hills Tournament and placed second as a team at Santa Ana. Sacramento City followed that with a convincing win in their latest dual, defeating Santa Rosa, 48-6.

With the state duals coming up on Saturday, October 15th, all of these teams will get their chance to move up in the next rankings.
